Sizes are indicated for: length from shoulder, sleeve length (裄), sleeve length (袖丈), back width, and front width.
How to choose a kimono that fits you
Generally, kimonos are chosen based on their "body length" and "sleeve length (裄)."
It is said that body length should be chosen to be "your height ± 5cm."
However, the length of the kimono can be adjusted with "ohashori" (tucking the kimono into the obi), so it can be worn even if it is longer than that.
The key to dressing stylishly is to choose a kimono with the correct "sleeve length (裄)," which is the measurement from the base of the neck to the wrist.
Our concept is "to wear kimonos freely, matching them with Western clothing." If you want to wear a kimono as a jacket, you can achieve a stylish look by choosing a kimono with a shorter length and wearing high heels.

In terms of Western clothing, they are "vintage" items.
We carefully select and purchase kimonos in good condition through our unique sourcing channels. Unworn items still have their "tacking stitches (shitsuke-ito) (*)."
However, some items may have stains, wrinkles, or damage. We select kimonos as "everyday wear that can be worn with Western clothing," and we believe that this sense of use is part of the "charm" of kimonos, so we sell them as such.
Prominent stains, wrinkles, or dirt are shown in the product photos, but if you are concerned about stains or dirt, please contact us by email before placing your order.

*) What are tacking stitches (shitsuke-ito)?
These are temporary stitches sewn to hold seams and folds in place to make tailoring easier when making a kimono. Generally, all of these stitches are removed when actually wearing the kimono.
